1. Service

ExpiringDocuments lets you store metadata about personal documents and receive reminders before they expire. Reminders are best-effort; you remain solely responsible for renewing your documents on time.

2. Account

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your login credentials safe — you are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Plans, trial and billing

The Free plan is free forever for up to 3 documents. Paid plans (Individual, Pro) include a 7-day free trial of Pro. After the trial, you will be charged according to your selected billing cycle. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload illegal content, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt the service.

5. Referral program

When 5 friends sign up via your unique link and become active users, your account is upgraded to Pro for 1 year. Abuse (fake accounts, self-referral) leads to disqualification.

6. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

7. Termination

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where the service operator is established.
